Inspired by traditional European villages, Villebois, which is French for “village near the woods,” is a 500-acre community that offers something for everyone. At the heart of Villebois sits the Village Center. Condominiums and row homes are the first homes to grace the Village Center, which hosts a stunning piazza, splashing fountain, majestic old-growth trees and ground-level retail and commercial space.
Surrounding the Village Center are three distinct neighborhoods, each with exquisite attention to detail, like stacked stone walls, lush gardens, and stunning architecture. At completion, Villebois will feature diverse housing types, including apartments and condominiums, attached row and town homes, as well as, single-family detached homes on lots of varying sizes. The entire community is connected by more than 130 acres of trails and open green spaces, including parks and nature preserves that join to trails that lead well beyond Villebois.

With over 160 acres of parks and open space, discovering nature is as easy as opening your front door.
Living in Villebois you’re always connected to Oregon’s natural beauty. Over 160 acres of parks and open space are waiting just outside your front door.
At the heart of the community, the Village Center is connected to 20 acres of open space. Throughout Villebois, a system of connected trails and paths make it easy and appealing to leave your car in the garage and take a walk instead. But that’s only the beginning...
A vibrant community needs to have open space so residents can experience the great outdoors without having to load up a car and take a trip. That’s why almost a third of Villebois is composed of breathtaking parks and open spaces. In addition to bike and pedestrian paths, there are also formal parks for hosting neighborhood gatherings and activities.
A 30-acre greenway wraps around the Village Center, and a natural upland forest houses preserved Oak and Fir trees. Villebois will also feature a variety of mixed-use parks for skating, tennis, basketball, and dog parks for man’s best friend.
The Tonquin Trail, 19-mile path linking Wilsonville, Tualatin, and Sherwood, is central to the proposed trail system of Villebois. In addition to the Tonquin Trail, the community’s multimodal trail system will include Coffee Lake Wood Trail and the Villebois Greenway Trail.
Not only will the proposed trails connect the Villebois community by linking all the neighborhoods together, they will also provide a major link to the regional open space network, by connecting to the Tonquin Geologic Trail to the north and to the Graham Oaks Regional Park to the south, via connections to the Coffee Lake Wood Trail and Tonquin Trail. Now that’s a long, beautiful walk!
Most of the extensive areas of wetlands and wildlife habitat in Villebois are associated with Coffee Lake Creek — the stream located within Villebois. Coffee Lake is the name given to the entire area, though only the central “kolk” retains water year round. The name “Coffee” refers to the dark color of the creek’s water, which flows from the Tonquin area, north of Grahams Ferry Road, and is fed by a series of springs, seeps, and smaller tributaries, such as Basalt Creek.
To the south of Wilsonville is Champoeg State Park, which boasts ten miles of hiking and biking trails. The paved biking trail winds through old growth hardwood forests, while the hiking-only trail curves along the scenic banks of the Willamette River and through the shady forests.
The fabulous Wilsonville Farmer’s Market takes place right in the Villebois neighborhood at Sofia Park! Footsteps from your house it features local farmers, food carts and live music every Thursday evening from 4-8pm, June-September. It’s now a tradition for many Villebois & Wilsonville residents to eat out at the farmer’s market throughout the summer. Residents of Wilsonville celebrate every Thursday as Villebois is transformed into Wilsonville’s living room theater. With over 45 vendors, a fantastic summer concert series, nightly cooking demonstrations and special events… they’ve got your dinner, dessert, groceries and entertainment covered! An emphasis on local, organic farms has brought new business opportunities to local farmers. The Wilsonville Farmers Market is truly one of Villebois’ favorite new summer traditions.
The heart of Villebois is at the recently completed Piazza Villebois, a beautiful European-inspired, hardscape park that features an impressive fountain, two bocce ball courts, a children’s maze, and twinkle lights. Park benches invite residents of the neighborhood to sit and enjoy the natural surroundings and listen to the bubbling fountain. Piazza Villebois has already been host to some fanatastic neighborhood events. A Root Beer Float & Bocce Ball Tournament, as well as the first of many Concert in the Piazza took place during the summer of 2013. As the Villebois Village Center develops, we look forward to enjoying lively retail shops, a coffee shop, & restaurants around the Piazza.
Completed in May of 2013, the Villebois Community Center has quickly become one of the most prized features of Villebois. West Linn-Wilsonville schools earned the highest rating on their school report cards, reflecting that their performance ranked among the top 10 percent of schools statewide in 2013, according to the Oregon Department of Education. Our schools have maintained music, fitness and art programs, and the student-teacher ratio is still low enough to promote effective learning.
